SUMMARY OF THE PODCAST:
What we thought was going to be a conversation about having more fun in the creative process turned into an exploration of our duality of light and dark.  By learning to embrace this experience in our lives, we can learn to have more fun and communicate on a richer and deeper level.

POINT #1: “GIFTS FROM THE DARK”
-We don’t always get to live in a happy-go-lucky, everything is perfect state.  Sometimes that’s not so bad.  Our encounters with sorrow and depression can teach us a lot about what has meaning in our lives and give us greater empathy for others.  Now create.

POINT #2: “WRESTLING WITH WHAT IS”
-The way events unfold in our lives don’t always go how we think.  Life has a way of altering our plans and offering us opportunities for greater growth and understanding of who we are.  Learning to embrace this and enjoy it a little more helps us thrive as creatives.

POINT #3: “WE ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE”
-The more we learn how we have the power to choose our experience of the world, the quicker we can get to creating with greater aliveness.  You might not agree when you’re in a rut — show yourself compassion, let it go, and choose to see it differently.
