SUMMARY OF THE PODCAST:
This one dives into the reasons why we get into creating art and finding meaning in what we’re doing.  If it we’re creating art entirely for some kind of quantified reward, then what is the point?  In the end, it’s all about the love.  Listen to know how it gets there!

POINT #1: “THE ICEBERG”
-Not of the Titanic variety, but of the metaphorical sort.  Think of your creative career as an iceberg — There is a whole ton of substance and work that is below the surface, that most people will NEVER see, but it is all necessary for that little piece to show at the top.

POINT #2: “QUANTIFYING OUR WORK CHAINS US DOWN”
-When we’re basing the value of our work based on external success, while being of some worth, ultimately it creates fear and restriction when we need to be free to create.  Trusting ourselves and not placing external demands on our work allows us to create more authentically.

POINT #3: “EVERYTHING IS ABOUT LOVE”
-The line sums it up.  Everything we do in our lives and in our art is about love and all the complications and obstacles we place around it.  Find and connect to the love in your work and everything else will become clear.
