SUMMARY OF THE PODCAST:
With musician Seth Sharp, we talk about some of the myths around living a creative life and the importance of asking “why” when we begin down a path of an artistic career.

POINT #1: “FIND JOY IN THE WORK”
-A small percentage of what you love to do will actually be spent doing it, the rest is setting the stage.  Find a way to enjoy that part too.

POINT #2: “YOUR CREATOR HAT AND YOUR EDITOR HAT”
-When you begin it’s important to make it play and get the creative inspiration out until it’s completed.  Only THEN should you go back and start on the editing process.

POINT #3: “WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ARTIST?”
-At some point, you will have to answer this question whether you’ve already had success or not.  When it becomes hard, go back to where you first had the desire.  It will either remind you and keep you going or it will tell you to move on.
